Hampton 2 Performance Goals

1. All students will demonstrate mastery of the South Carolina Curriculum Standards.
2. All special disabilities students will demonstrate mastery of their IEP requirements.
3. Students will demonstrate preparation for admission to institutions of higher learning or the job market by acquiring admittance to the school or job of their choice.
4. Students will use modern technology to develop and apply skills in all subject areas.
5. The district will share positive information with the public and news media.
6. The district will seek highly qualified staff to fill all vacancies.

Hampton 2 Strategy

1. Teachers will teach the South Carolina Curriculum Standards for Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies in order for students to meet or exceed standards on standardized tests.
2. Teachers will provide individual instruction that will address all academic needs identified in each student’s IEP.
3. The district will implement the state and local K-12 curriculum to ensure that students are prepared to meet their post-secondary goals.
4. The district will utilize modern technology throughout the curriculum to assist students in problem solving and in developing strategies for organization of information.
5. The district will develop and implement a public relationship plan to address the negative image of our district.
6. The district will develop and implement a plan to address recruitment and retention of highly qualified skilled staff.
