This federally funded program provides grants to school
districts for training and technical assistance in implementing proven
effective programs and curricula in the areas of drug and violence prevention.
The staff also initiates training with districts requesting additional support
in proven prevention programs and evaluation procedures.
Hampton County School District 2 develops its Title IV plan with the assistance
of an Advisory Board. The board consists of members from community agencies,
parents, citizens, and school/district staff. This year's funds are being used
to implement a Bullying Prevention program for grades 5-12 and to support the
district's emergency procedures plan.

Hampton 2 has announced Jacqueline Murdaugh as the district's Employee of the Month for November 2011.
School and district report cards are part of the state’s education
accountability system. They provide schools and communities with
information on the progress of schools and districts measured against
the 2010 goal of having our student achievement ranked in the top half
of the states nationally.
