The Office of Federal Programs of Hampton County School District 2 coordinates and monitors formula grant programs awarded to the district through the state. These programs include Title I Part A, Title II-- Teacher Quality, Title IV—Safe and Drug Free Schools, Title V Part A—Innovative Programs, and Title VI—Rural and Low-Income School Program.

In Hampton County School District 2, federal programs support the district’s mission to prepare students to be successful, responsible citizens by providing challenging educational services that go beyond those provided by the district’s regular program.

Re: Notification of Asbestos Inspections

In compliance with the U.S. Environment Protection Agency (EPA) Asbestos Hazard Emergancy Response Act (AHERA), in the fall of 1998 we performed inspections of each of our schools builds for Asbestos Containing Building Materials (ACBM).
