Hampton County School District 2 consists of three schools – Estill Elementary, Estill Middle, and Estill High, serving approximately 1145 students. We are a small rural community rich in wildlife and scenic beauty and have the additional advantage of being close to many bigger cities that offer diverse historical, cultural, recreational and shopping experiences. We are within an hour’s drive of Savannah, Georgia, Beaufort and Hilton Head, South Carolina and just two hours away from Augusta, Georgia and Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina. Several educational institutions: USC-Aiken, USC-Allendale, USC-Beaufort, and USC-Walterboro are within commuting distance of the district. South Carolina State University and Claflin University are located 56 miles away in Orangeburg, SC. All schools in the district are fully accredited by the South Carolina Department of Education.
